H.Y.C.C. Translation Services

H.Y.C.C. offers prompt, accurate and affordable translation services between English, Mandarin Chinese and Japanese.

Based on the campus of Harbin University of Science and Technology (Harbin, China), H.Y.C.C. not only has a pool of translation staff prepared to start a project immediately but also access to a wealth of specialized assistance from the university.

Using these resources, H.Y.C.C. is able to provide a comprehensive translation service spanning several specialist fields. Particular fields of expertise include:

Each H.Y.C.C. translator is assigned exclusively to one project at any one time. This ensures that turnaround times are kept to a minimum and the language used in the translations remains consistent. For particularly large translations with tight deadlines several translators may be used, headed by one "editor" who will be responsible for consistency of style and content. A native speaker of the target language is involved during the translation process to ensure the sentences and terms used sound natural and are not too literal or misleading.

The president of H.Y.C.C., Adam Livermore, has over four years of translation experience. He takes responsibility for proofreading of all translations from / into English. He passed the Japanese Language Proficiency Test, Level 1 in 1999 (highest level of ability recognised for non-native speakers), and the HSK Chinese Proficiency Test, Level 7 in 2005 (this level certifies his Chinese ability as adequate to attend a postgraduate university course at a Chinese university).
