Student life in China is an adventure. Simple things like
buying an international phonecard can turn into a major challenge.
However the learning process can be a very enjoyable one.
Below we have gathered together a collection of pictures taken
by foreign students at some of the universities on the ARAQ
Network. We hope these photos give you an insight into some
of the aspects of Chinese life you can expect to encounter
during your study period.
The business end of study occurs in the classroom.
At most universities students of Chinese Language
spend every morning from 8.00am to 12.30pm in the
classroom, with a break between 9.30 ¨C 10.00am. Students
of other subjects may find they have more classroom
hours. Classroom facilities tend to be basic yet comfortable.
Occasionally they do contain some AV equipment, but
most teachers tend not to use this equipment too often.
