programmes for students certified at HSK Level 6 or above.

Situated in the heart of Shenyang, Liaoning University was
one of the 100 universities chosen in 1995 for rapid modernization
to meet the academic requirements of China in the 21st century.
Due to this intensive development, the university underwent
a rapid transformation between 1996 and 2000. The international
students department formed part of this modernization, and
the teaching, dormitory and canteen areas all boast state-of-the-art
facilities.

Liaoning University has been
teaching the Chinese language to foreign students for
over 40 years. This experience combined with the modern
facilities make it an ideal location to study Chinese.
The university is well-known for its Global Economics,
Material Chemistry and Ecology courses. |
There are two main campuses at Liaoning University. The Chinese
Language courses are taught on the campus nearer to the city
centre. However many of the specialist degree courses are
now taught at a newly-developed campus further from central
