| The ARAQ Network
offers courses in Chinese Language for students of all levels
of Chinese proficiency and 111 Bachelor degree programmes for
students certified at HSK Level 6 or above. Programme lengths
of between one month and four years are available. It is also
possible to apply for admission to Masters and Doctorate courses
at Jilin University through the ARAQ Network. The university
offers a selection of 132 Masters and 56 Doctorate courses.

Jilin University was founded in 1946, and since then it
has merged with other universities in the city to form the
largest university in China with over 80,000 students.
In recent years the Chinese government has invested a large
amount of resources in improving and developing the university.
Today the facilities are extremely modern and Jilin University
is a highly respected educational institution. Micro-molecular
Chemistry & Physics, Computer Software & Theory, Law
and Marxist Philosophy are some of the most popular courses.
The Medical Department is considered the best in China.

Being a conglomeration of
several institutions, Jilin is spread over a number of
campuses. Most foreign students are based at the ultra-modern
Nanhu or Nanxiao campuses, however participants studying
undergraduate or graduate programmes together with Chinese
students may find themselves located on a different campus.

The standard of the facilities provided for international
students is excellent. Gyms, sports centres, libraries, coffee
shops, internet cafes etc. are all within easy walking distance
of the international students dormitories. There is also a
huge Wal-Mart store across the road from the Nanhu campus
and a Carrefour Hypermarket close to the Nanxiao campus.
