Starting with the application procedure,
the ARAQ network will handle all procedures that do
not require the personal involvement of the participant.
The participant will be met at Beijing International
Airport and personally escorted to the destination by
a member of the ARAQ network team via a soft-sleeper
train. At the airport the participant will be provided
with a mobile phone containing 100 renminbi of
|
credit (deposit required - returned at completion of programme
in exchange for mobile phone). The phone will contain a 24-hour
contact number for H.Y.C.C., meaning the participant will have
the ability to call H.Y.C.C. for support at any time during
their study period.
A conveniently located, fully furnished apartment
will be ready for the participant upon arrival at the destination
city. The apartment size will be a minimum of 70sqm, including
the following:
- 1 bedroom furnished with a large bed, table, wardrobe
and chest of drawers
- 1 study room furnished with a large desk, chair and
study lamp
- a main living area furnished with a sofa, television,
DVD and coffee table
- a bathroom with a shower
- a kitchen with cooking utensils, refrigerator, double-ring
stove and microwave
- a 24-hour broadband internet connection (free unlimited
access to the internet).
| The participant
will then be introduced to two Chinese "mentors"
and given a tour of the campus and the city. These "mentors"
are just a phone call away and will assist the participant
with everyday problems such as arranging an internet
connection, setting up a bank account etc. University
tuition fees and purchase of textbooks will also be
covered by the programme.

If requested, personal tuition can be arranged at no additional
charge. Two visits to Chinese factories / company headquarters
will be arranged per semester and bi-monthly one-to-one lectures
from Chinese business professionals (lawyers, accountants) scheduled
at times convenient for the participant.
Every month there will also be an complimentary
ARAQ network dinner, at which programme managers, mentors
and participants can exchange information in a relaxed, informal
setting. An international telephone card, extensive information
packages about life in China, maps, ARAQ Network T-Shirts
etc. are also all included in the cost of the ARAQ Professional
Programme Package.
Professional Programme Cost:
US$5,500.00 - US$8,000.00 per semester
